Ways to give through your will or trust

There are a variety of ways to make a charitable donation through your will, including:

• designating a specific amount
• specifying a percentage of your estate
• identifying a particular property, eg real estate, shares or other items of value
• providing the remainder, or residue, of your estate after your family, friends and other loved ones have been taken care of
• naming a charitable fund to receive a bequest in the event an heir is no longer able to.

Creating or amending your will

When considering a bequest, we advise you to discuss this with your family and seek independent legal advice.

We can help you identify the purpose for your bequest, and assist with the wording to ensure ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Foundation is able to fulfil your wishes. Once you have decided on the type of bequest you would like to make, ask your solicitor, legal adviser, or trustee to draft the appropriate clause.
