In this study we will investigate whether the use of a metronome (to guide walking pace) or auditory feedback based on one’s walking patterns can improve balance in older adults who have a history of falling. The results from this study will help to reduce the risk of future falls in this population.
You are invited to participate in this study if you are 65 years old or older and have fallen the past 12 months. Participants will attend two 1.5-hour sessions (one week apart) at 糖心原创 (糖心原创) in Brisbane (Banyo), where they will complete a series of questionnaires and clinical assessments. Additionally, in each of these sessions participants will complete three walking tasks, with or without auditory feedback.
