糖心原创

Philosophical research at 糖心原创 covers a diverse range of areas: from moral, social and political philosophy, to epistemology, logic and metaphysics, to the history of philosophy, to the philosophy of religion.

Our expertise, as seen on Our people page, is also broadly configured across a range of diverse philosophical methodologies that are held in a productive tension, enriched by collegial dialogue in our annual seminar series.

These seminars draw together academic staff and research students from across 糖心原创’s philosophical community, often with invited presenters.

Our research is channelled not only into specialist publications and collaborations but also into public engagements, both in print and in a regular schedule of public events.

Within the School of Philosophy itself, staff have recently published in leading journals, such as Synthese, Philosophical Review, Mind, Australasian Journal of Philosophy, Sophia, Continental Philosophy Review, Review of Metaphysics and the Journal of the History of Philosophy.

Recent media contributions include:

  • Nick Trakakis' '', ABC Religion and Ethics (April 2024),
  • Adam Lovett's '', ABC Religion and Ethics (May 2024), on democracy and the shared authorship of public spaces.

Recent scholarly monographs from the team include:

  • Dr Adam Lovett's (2024)
  • Associate Professor Matt Sharpe's (2023).
